Nach Baliye 3’ has done to Sanjeeda Sheikh what ‘Jhalak Dikhlaja’ did to Prachi Desai. The winner of the dance competition has bagged in her ticket to Bollywood.White Feathers team is producing ‘Paankh’ and they have roped in Sanjeeda for the movie. Bips will be adding star value to ‘Paankh’, and Sanjeeda will be seen playing a teenager, who is forced by her mom to join Bollywood.Sanjeeda began her career as an ‘extra’ i.e. as a supporting dancer to the main lead. Then she got her break in the small screen with the lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka’. Now, after winning ‘Nach’ she gets a break in Bollywood.Meanwhile, the director is reconsidering the script to rope in a dance number for Sanjeed in the movie. With her dancing talents receivireceiving rave reviews, the director surely would want to cash it in.

Deepika failed to impress the Roshans on the dance floor

Things seemed starry for the newcomer Deepika Padukone when she was chosen for Hrithik Roshan’s next after a dizzing success of her debut ‘OSO’.However, the film which is based on Latin dance, requires the leading lady to be skilled in Salsa. Where Hrithik’s dancing skills need no mention, Deepika failed to impress the Roshans on the dance floor. So, Deepika was opted out of this movie which will be directed by Anurag Basu.To cheer up the lady, Rakesh Roshan has promised her that she would soon be signing their next production. How very kind of Mr. Roshan, right!

Who is the star of Bollywood. Shah Rukh Khan or Akshay Kumar? Many found this question to be very dumb –“It is Shah Rukh, of course!’’ they said.There was online voting done and Sharukh did win the poll. This was not uprising as it was something expected.
Shah Rukh Khan did win the poll and that didn’t surprise us. What did was the large number of readers who voted for Akshay Kumar too! Looks like he is next on the league.The main reason Sharukh was voted was because of his versatility which spans across genres such as romance, drama, comedy and action - not unlike Amitabh Bachchan who ruled Bollywood in the 70s and 80s.

UN using Bollywood star power for social issues

There is news that lot of Bollywood actors are being roped in by the UN commission for a noble cause.

United Nations want our bollywood actors to speak against human trafficking. India’s rich stars have been roped in by the UN . Human trafficking is said to be the most lucrative business all over the world.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, action hero Akshay Kumar, Nana Patekar and ‘hot babe’ Katrina Kaif will now be seen in a two-minute clip, titled one life, one price, aimed at raising awareness of this modern form of slavery.

This clipping will be shown in over 1,100 theatres across India before the start of a new Bollywood multi-starrer movie Welcome. Well, this is something really nice and commendable done by our stars. Using star power for social issues is a noble thing to do.

Akshay And Katrina Always Paired Together

Akshay is paired with Katrina in a series of movies and this s raising eye brows in the industry.

Not just critical comments the couple is also receiving lot of appreciative comments from critics and audiences.

Askhay, 40, was paired with Katrina in Namaste London and he also is set to appear opposite Katrina once again in Anees Bazmee’s Welcome, slated for release Friday, December 21. He also features opposite her in another of his forthcoming film, Anees Bazmee’s Singh Is Kinng. According to a tabloid report the frequent pairing and good onscreen chemistry between

Akshay and Katrina is believed to have rattled Salman Khan who is romantically linked with Katrina Kaif.

Akshay explains why he considers the pairing both successful and sought after by producers.

“Katrina is easy going and takes her work seriously but with a smile…. There is no reason not to have fun and shoot,” he says.

“Katrina still exudes freshness in every film and that makes her likeable - a rare asset and a goldmine for any actor,” he adds.

When asked by a reporter as to why he has been recommending Katrina Kaif to all his producers Akshay’s answer was matter-of-fact.

“I’m not out to spoil her really. I’m making life easy for a colleague. I struggled once. Why should someone else go through that?” he asks.

After receiving applauds for her performance in the hit ‘Welcome’, the jat girl is being considered for a leading role in director Kundan Shah’s political satire that he has been working on for many yearsThe film will be a satirical humour dealing with the story of a prostitute who is on the run. She goes through many testing circumstances and eventually becomes the chief minister of a state.However, Mallika has not yet signed the dotted line. Even, Shah hasn’t yet confirmed Mallika’s presence in the film. All he says is that the cast is being finalized.

Aziz Mirza’s next project will be shot in a foreign location, with Shahid as the lead. “My new film, for which we’ve found no suitable title as yet, is set in a foreign city. I made a conscious decision to move out of Mumbai this time,” Aziz told the reporters. There have been rumors all around tinsel town about how Aziz and his protege Shah Rukh have drifted and separated apart. Aziz is genuinely surprised and shocked at the rumors.
“Not at all. Juhi (Chawla) and Shah Rukh are like my own children. How can I move away from them? The only reason why Shah Rukh is not in my new film is because this role required a young boy, just out of college.”

“Opportunity strikes only once at a persons door” is what I can say for this beautiful and brainy actress Tisca Chopra which has made an actor like Naseeruddin Shah turn his head and attention towards a new comer actress Tisca Chopra who is more then willing to teach acting at a teaching institute in India by the name of “Whistling Woods” if I was in her place I would certainly take the most from such an opportunity maybe someday she can be at the level of Naseeruddin Shah also. If garnering praise from Aamir Khan for her realistic performance as the boy’s mother in Taare Zameen Par wasn’t enough, the talented Tisca Chopra has been asked by none other than Naseeruddin Shah to take a few classes and teach the new students at Subhash Ghai’s Whistling Woods International School, when not shooting!! Says Tisca,”It is definitely a great honor for me to get the opportunity to be part of Mr Ghai’s magnificent school and I hope to teach as many classes as I can when I am not shooting! Working in Taare Zameen Par has been the most splendid experience and I hope to get many projects like this soon!! Well, Beauty and Brains is quite a potent combination for a teacher, right!!

Salman is interfering with Katrina latest flick, ‘Welcome’.

There are rumors that Salman Khan is interfering with girlfriend Katrina Kaif’s latest flick, ‘Welcome’.

Actually, these rumors are false and are creating lot of problems between the couple and also for the director.

“There have been rumours about Salman being unhappy with Katrina wearing a short skirt and all that, but those are only talks. Salman is a good friend. I am sure he would have come to me if he had any problem,” clarifies Anees adding, “I have worked with Salman in ‘No Entry’.

When he didn’t interfere in that film, where is the question of him butting in ‘Welcome’? He did come on the sets once but that was because I wanted to narrate a story to him. He had lunch with the rest of the cast, and there was no problem at all. I don’t know why all this talk has started.”

Wonder why gossip mongers spread false alarm all the time and create problems for these stars. After all stars are also humans and they too need their privacy.
