Bollywood actor Aamir Khan sprung a shock at an unidentified village near Faridkot in Punjab when he made his attendance felt dressed as a foreigner on Saturday. Disguised as a foreigner, he attended a pre-wedding ceremony and also took part in the Haldi ceremony. he further united the chorus of ladies in singing the traditional marriage Sangeet and danced with the members of the family.
However, no sooner than Aamir Khan revealed his true individuality, almost all present on the occasion became frenzied out of sheer enthusiasm. Later, he joined the other guests and partook his share in the dinner prior to bidding adieu to the surprised hosts. The formal marriage is scheduled to take place on Sunday. Kamaldeep, one of the villagers present at the Haldi ceremony said that she could not believe her eyes when she saw Aamir between them.
“When he (Aamir Khan) removed his teeth and detached the make-up, we were surprised. It was not possible to believe that he was visiting our village,” Kamaldeep said. Of late, Aamir Khan has been making waves by promoting his forthcoming film ‘3 Idiots’ in innovative ways. This movie, which is slated to hit the screen, nationwide on December 25, also stars Kareena Kapoor and Sharman Joshi.
