Priyadarshan is all set to make a film on wild tigers, titled Grrr, with Amitabh Bachchan in the title role.
Priyan says, “Grrr will be about the maneaters of the Sunderbans. It’ll belong to the same genre as Steven Spielberg’s Jaws.”
Wondering where Amitabh fits into all this? Well, Amitabh will play Jim Corbett, the famous hunter and conservationist, in Grrr. “I’m a big admirer of Jim Corbett and a huge fan of Amitji. It’s only natural that I bring the two together. Even though I’ve directed Amitji in several ads, it’s been my dream to do a feature film with him. I was looking for a role that’s worthy of his stature. And what better role than that of Jim Corbett?” asks the director.
