Amrita Arora to wed Shakeel in March!

After splitting apart from long time Pakistani cricketer boyfriend Usman Afsal, Amita Arora finds the real love in the heart of Shakeel Ladak. The duo has been dating from six months and quite sure of getting into matrimonial bonding. They are ready to make marriage commitments next year in March.
Says a source, “Amrita and Shakeel are planning to get married by March 2009. The two families have already met and are currently sorting out the dates. It will be either March 3 or 6 and will be held at a luxurious resort in Goa. It’s been Amrita’s dream to have a beautiful church wedding in Goa. The couple has been going around for more than six months with Shakeel even accompanying Amrita to Los Angeles in August when she was shooting for Kambakht Ishq.” Amrita is talking openly about her marriage in parties and events. But when contacted, she rubbishes the marriage rumor. She said, “Who said this? It’s not true.

I am not getting married in March next year. Everyone was joking at a party and forcing Shakeel and me to commit a marriage date, so I told them that there are no marriage plans as of now.”

We had already reported that Amrita after kicking out cricketer Usmal Afzal from her life is dating a new man, now here we bring you the details of her new love interest. The man she is presently dating is Shakeel Ladak, director of administration with the Red Stone Group. He supervises the administrative duties of the construction group in Mumbai.
Amrita met Shakeel in a social gathering and they came closer. It is said that Shakeel supported Amrita and lend her moral support when she had broken up with Usman. With every passing day, their relationship is growing stronger. They look like a happy go lucky couple and enjoying each other company to the fullest. Shakeel surprises her very often with expensive gifts which brings smile to Amrita’s face.

Shakeel also droped at the set of Kambakth Ishq to impress his lady.

Now this one is hot because the hotteset sisters in Bollywood tow have been roped in to perform an item number! Shree Ashtavinayak CineVision Ltd. has signed the gorgeous sister duo Malaika Arora Khan and Amrita Arora for an exciting item number together, for the very first time! The item number is for Sanjay Gadhvi’s film ‘Kidnap’ starring Sanjay Dutt, Vidya Malavade, Minissha Lamba, Rahul Dev and Reemaa.The song will be choreographed by Remo and from what we hear it seems to be a very Chicago-type song! Sanjay Dutt too will be a part of the song. The film has been penned by Shibani Bhatija, and has music by Pritam. The editing will be done by Rameshwar Bhagat and the stunt sequences will be by Allan Amin. The shooting for this song will start in Filmistan from 9th March till 13th March. Ashtavinayak’s Media consultant Parag Desai has agreed signing these two beauties and said, “Yes, Ashtavinayak has signed on Malaika and Amrita Arora for an item number for ‘Kidnap’. After canning a song for ‘Golmaal Returns’ on a very large scale we are really looking forward to shooting this song as well. This is the final shooting schedule for the film and after this song the film will be complete” Well, looks like this is one item song you must watch out for!!

Usman Afzal got Amrita’s name tattooed on his arm

Amrita Arora and Kareena Kapoor have been long time friends. So when Saif tattooed Kareena’s name on his arm, Amrita was thrilled. On seeing Amrita’s excitement, her long time boyfriend Usman Afzal decided to do the same kind of gesture for her. So Usman got Amrita’s name tattooed on his arm this Valentine’s Day. The tattoo was done by tattoo artist Vishwas and it took nearly three hours to complete. Usman is currently in London and Amrita has not yet seen his tattoo. She has been informed about this by their common friend Aalim. On hearing that her boyfriend got her name on his arm, Amrita is overwhelmed with joy and is eagerly waiting for the moment when Usman will fly down to India and show it to her. Even we are waiting dear Amrita, to feature your name on Usman’s arm in our space!

Two beautiful Bollywood ladies share their birthdays on the same day- January 31. While Amrita Rao threw a theme party of ‘Wigs and Hats’ on Jnauary 30th night, she had Preity Zinta as her surprise guest. The two Aquarian girls even cut a cake together.Says Preity, “Amrita is a really really sweet girl and she has been inviting me every year for us to celebrate our birthday together. This year I said I had to go. Besides it was a theme party…wigs and hats. And I love hats. I’m a very hat person. So I went in one of my favourite hats. Thank God I didn’t wear the big blonde wig as I was planning to because the whole industry was there. How would I’ve looked?” Preity turns 33 this year and says that constant reference to her age by media irritates her. With her cricket deal finalized just a few days back, Preity was in a series of meetings on the eve of her birthday.
