Aamir Khan, being a perfectionist, wants everything to be just right. He makes sure that the directors he works with or the directors who are appointed to work with his production house, Aamir Khan Productions, are equally perfect.Anusha, a debutante director, was made to undergo a test before she was selected for Aamir’s production, Peepli Live. Aamir gave her five scenes in order to test her and make sure she was the perfect choice.

It was similar to the auditions that actors have to give.According to sources, Anusha used to be a reporter who had sent Aamir an email with a script for a film on farmers’ suicides. Aamir liked the script but he wasn’t certain if she would be able to direct it. So he asked her to shoot five scenes which she did. He was impressed by the way she shot the scenes and decided that she could direct the film. Anusha admits to being nervous about it but because she was used to handling a video camera, it was easy for her.

The only thing she found new was dealing with actors. She also believes that a film’s technical aspect is the most difficult part and because it was just the way it should have been, it was a nice learning experience.

The director, Milap Zaveri had to drop his plans of studding stars in his forthcoming debut film, Jaane Kahan Se Aayi Hai. He had announced his plans to line up certain superstars like Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Vidya Balan and Anushka Sharma for a few shots in his romantic fantasy , love story of an alien. The chaos had to revolve around Riteish Deshmukh and Ruslaan Mumtaz who are playing an assistant director and a superstar respectively.

But the delay in the shoots could not get the director with the biggies dates due to their busy schedule. So he had to drop all the censors on Friday of casting the actresses – Kat, Deepika, Vidya and Anushka in the project despite their thorough interest. On the other side Priyanka Chopra has recently got free from her Anjaana Anjaani shoots in the US and thus was able to look forward to the guest appearance in the film.

Now PC would be seen with the stars like Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Farah Khan, Sajid Khan, Boman Irani and Amrita Rao in this ‘alien love story’.However the ladies – Katrina, Deepika, Vidya and Anushka – have been really supportive to the director and promised him Milap to be there at the premiere. The film starring Jacqueline Fernandez as the gorgeous alien and Deshmukh as loser-in-love is all set to release on 9th April.

Actor Kangana Ranaut was signed on by Fox Star Studios for a movie titled Dum Maaro Dum where she was supposed to play a Goan junkie.The movie also stars Aditya Panscholi in the role of an abusive drug dealer. But soon Kangana walked out. Sources say as per the script, Aditya’s character was supposed to assault Kangna’s character.

Vivek Krishnan, the head of marketing and distribution of Fox Star Studios, confirmed the news saying, “Kangna has walked out of the film.” But he didn’t cite reasons for her walking out.It may be recalled that in 2007 Kangana had filed a non-cognisable police complaint against Aditya for ‘harassing her’.When Kangana first came to Mumbai she stayed at Aditya’s place.

The duo had fought many a times after that and finally Kangana walked out on Aditya.So, did Kangna walk out of the film because she didn’t want to act alongside Aditya? We wonder.

Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor will be seen in a new avatar for Pepsi’s new commercial, contrary to his usual look.The 27-year-old will sport a dragon tattoo on his left arm and a motif of the same on his black-blue costume and neck-piece.

The messy and carefree look is complemented with a stubble and a mop of hair falling on his forehead.Ranbir, who recently replaced superstar Shah Rukh Khan as the brand ambassador of Pepsi, is ready with “The Game”, an upcoming TV concept from Pepsi.
