Close on the heels of the superstar being honoured by French government with the Insignia of Officer in the Order Arts and Letters at the opening ceremony of the French Film Festival in Mumbai, comes the news that the renowned Grevin Museum in Paris is preparing to unveil the actor’s wax replica by April this year. So it seems that one wax statue at London’s Madame Tussauds is not enough for King Khan. He will now be moulded in wax for the second time for the French museum. What’s even more interesting is that SRK will become the only living Indian to have his statue installed at this museum. The other Indian whose statue graces Grevin’s is none other than that of Mahatma Gandhi.The Museum is a well known international museum of wax statues and boasts of an impressive collection of statues, including figures like Michael Jackson, and Celine Dion among others. the unveiling of the statue is scheduled to be a huge event in Paris. SRK has promised to be a part of it.
The actor is believed to be very impressed by the handiwork of the artisans and is expected to be in Paris to unveil his statue along with a few of his Bollywood friends. Well, clearly the French seem to be quite besotted by SRK.
