It seems that director Mani Ratnam (inset) is impressed with Aishwarya Rai’s histrionics. Working with the light-eyed actress for the third time in Raavan, the director is all praises for his lead heroine. Says a source close to Ash, “Besides her acting talents the director is impressed with Ash’s impeccable dialogue pitch and her professionalism.
Raavan is being made in Hindi and Tamil simultaneously and though Aishwarya has done Tamil films before (Iruvar, Jeans) it has been many years since she has spoken the language. Mani was definitely prepared for the film to go slow due to this, but the actress surprised everyone by her grasp of the language.
She was one actor who did not get any rest as she was shooting for both the versions simultaneously.” Is there anything she can’t do right?
