Yesterday evening, reports started flying around Saif Ali Khan’s so-called clash with the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF) staff at the Lucknow airport. Apparently, at the airport, he turned down to move out of the lounge (which was arranged for the VIPs) and ‘tried to throw his weight around’.
However, the actor has been caught completely unaware with the turn of events since the fact was fully opposite.
Says Saif, “This is totally baseless. There was no tiff of any kind. What has come out as ‘news’ is in fact totally distorted. It was a polite conversation and nothing as dramatic as what is being put on print actually happened at all.”
Instead it’s Viveck Anand, Joint Gm – Operations at the airport, who reached out to Saif instantly after and they spent some together over tea.
“We have known each other for 20 years and he is a good friend of mine. We had tea together”, adds Saif.
He’s upset though with the news-piece making rounds and is now set to file a lawsuit against the news agency that came up with it.
