Superstar Salman Khan surprised actor Ranbir Kapoor with a special gift when the latter appeared on his show ‘Dus Ka Dum’. The release of Bachna Ae Haseeno is drawing close and Ranbir and Deepika Padukone are getting busy promoting their film. For this very reason, the two appeared on Salman’s television show on August 1. According to reports, Salman was his jocular self on the show while Ranbir got to chip in a few funny lines. Ranbir and Deepika also spoke briefly about their film ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’. But the real surprise of the show was reserved for the end when Salman gifted a painting to Ranbir. It was a painting of Ranbir’s grandfather, the legendary actor-filmmaker Raj Kapoor . Taken by surprise, Ranbir was visibly overwhelmed with emotion at receiving such an appropriate gift from Salman. The canvas was reportedly a black and white portrait of a thoughtful Raj Kapoor in profile. Ranbir loved the painting and his grandmother Krishna Kapoor, too, approved of it. The painting has reportedly been put up in the office of RK Studios. Coincidentally, Salman’s show ‘Dus Ka Dum’ is also shot at RK Studios in Chembur.
The episode featuring Ranbir and Deepika will be telecast on August 15, the day ‘Bachna Ae Haseeno’ hits the theatres.
