Shah Rukh Khan turned 43, and the world was there to celebrate it alongwith him. The Badshah had received more than 2000 sms’ from members of the film fraternity and close friends. SRK replied with a personal note to my birthday wishes at 5:23 on monday morning. Really stunned at the hour of the sms arriving, I promptly sms’d him back, asking, “Don’t tell me you have not yet hit the sack?” Promptly came the reply, “going now, goodnite.”
Shah Rukh Khan has had a really long extended celebration of his birthday, starting from, saturday night too monday morning. The birthday which was on 2nd November, was brought forward by a party hosted by his wife, Gauri Khan for close friends on saturday night. On the day of the birthday, the media had camped outside the star’s house for most part of the day and finally SRK relented and spoke to each media house individually from 5 in the evening till late night. And then he personally replied to all the sms’ that he had received.
The travails of being a superstar, but SRK does not mind it. Each birthday wish from a fan to a colleague brings life to this actor, who has always believed the world is a stage…
