FBE successfully held the “Wukesong Forum”

In order to make students pay attention to and understand the science and culture of noodles, FBE held the 2023 “Wukesong Forum” on Dec. 1. Prof. Bin Xu of the School of Food and Biological Engineering gave a lecture on Chinese noodle science and culture. More than 90 teachers and students participated in the forum.

Prof. Bin Xu illustrated the culture, types and development of Chinese noodles from multiple dimensions, guiding the participators to have a new scientific understanding of the development, inheritance and innovation of Chinese noodle culture. After the lecture, students said that as the "food people", we should not only strengthen the learning of professional knowledge, but also promote scientific research and development of processing technology in the field of food.
